OLG inhibited chemokine production in RT7 stimulated by P. gingivalis LPS for 24 h. Treatment with 10 and 50 μg/mL OLG significantly inhibited the production of interleukin 8 (IL-8) (a) and C-C motif ligand 20 (CCL20) (b) in a concentration-dependent manner and treatment with 50 μg/mL OLG significantly inhibited the production of growth-related oncogene protein-α (GRO-α) (c). The values are expressed as the mean ± standard deviation of four replicate measurements. * (p < 0.05) and ** (p < 0.01) show significant differences when compared to the non-stimulated control. # (p < 0.05) and ## (p < 0.01) show significant differences when compared to the control stimulated by P. gingivalis. OLG: olanexidine gluconate; Pg: P. gingivalis; LPS: lipopolysaccharide
