HPLF collagen type Ι expression. HPLF were cultured on P11–4 hydrogels (20 mg/ml) up to 21 days. After 7, 14 and 21 days, supernatants were removed and analyzed for collagen type Ι expression by ELISA. Collagen amount were normalized to the cell proliferation rate. As a control, cells were cultured on tissue culture polystyrene (TCPS). Data represent the mean ± standard deviation, n = 3, *p-value ≤0.05, **p-value ≤0.01.
