Comparison of the efficacy between primary dentition and permanent dentition. The overall effects of micro-invasive treatments were significantly different from the control effects (OR = 0.23, 95% CI 0.18–0.30). Both infiltration and sealing were more effective than non-invasive treatments in primary dentition and permanent dentition (primary dentition: OR = 0.30, 95% CI 0.20–0.45; permanent dentition: OR = 0.20, 95% CI 0.14–0.28)
