Cytotoxicity of R89BS-coated TDs on human lung fibroblast (MRC5). Positive control (Ctrl+) is represented by fully lysate cells (0.5% Triton X) and negative control (Ctrl−) is represented by cells in standard growth medium. No significant difference in cytotoxicity was found between negative control (Ctrl−) and data obtained using the growth medium used for eluting the BS from the titanium discs surface (R89Ti).
