Digital Dentistry Society

Society information

The digital revolution is changing how people think, communicate and work.  Even in dentistry, digital devices are making previously manual tasks, easier, faster, cheaper and more predictable. The Digital Dentistry Society (DDS) was founded  to favor scientific progress and the applicative development of rehabilitation treatment in dentistry and more generally in the field of oro-maxillofacial treatment with the use of digital technologies. It was created to set and improve the evidence base of these new procedures and to provide a support network for all dental health professionals as they navigate through the morass of digital technologies, with the ultimate goal of benefiting patients. The society achieves this through supporting scientific research, the organization of training activities, and collaborations with companies in all fields of Digital Dentistry. The society is composed of many members worldwide, who are eminent experts in multiple fields of Digital Dentistry.  Members of the DDS will receive a discount on BMC Oral Health's article-processing charge when they provide a discount code (which members can obtain by contacting the society) during the submission process.
