PAR-1 (a), PAR-2 (b) and PAR-3 (c) gene expression in response to P. gingivalis supernatant. PARs gene expression was evaluated by quantitative real-time RT-PCR (QRT-PCR) in response to cell-free supernatant from P. gingivalis and TLCK-preincubated supernatant in GECs. After P. gingivalis supernatant treatment, the expression of PAR-2 was upregulated compared to untreated control cells. Conversely, PAR-1 and PAR-3 expression was significantly downregulated.
