The score difference before and after treatment was statistically insignificant at T2 (p = 0.15) but it was significant at T3 (p = 0.018). The difference between the phobic group and the control group was statistically significant (p = 0.001). The STAI score in the phobic group after psychotherapeutic treatment remained significantly higher than that in the control group
