Assessment of accuracy. A 3D skull reconstructed from CT data was registered to PHOTO1 with the facial global reference system. The coordinate values of the pre-selected landmarks (blue) on the maxillary dentition were recorded in the CT-integrated position (grey), and the orientations (pitch, roll, yaw) of the maxillary dentition were all set as 0°. B By selecting the same region on the dentition, the CT-integrated dentition (grey) with the landmarks “glued” on it was registered to the CAD/CAM facebow-integrated dentition (red). C The coordinate values of the landmarks in the position of the CAD/CAM facebow-integrated dentition (green) were recorded.
