Horizontal position

 HC3: The distance from the anterior upper point of the hyoid bone (H) to the lower edge of the third cervical vertebra (C3)

 HPtm: The distance from H to the vertical line of the FH through the Ptm point

Vertical position

 HFH: The distance from H to the FH plane

 HMP: The distance from H to the MP plane (Go-Gn)
