Measuring the retention of the palatal plate by hooking the tip of the device (Digital force gauge RZ-5®; AIKOHENGINEERING, Tokyo, Japan) to a ring and applying traction. The angle meter (Digital angle gage WR300 Type 2®, Wixey, US) displays the direction of traction relative to the Camper’s plane.
