Representative successful cases of nonsurgical root canal treatment (NSRCT). (a-c) A 36-year-old female with a periapical lesion on right maxillary lateral incisor. (a) received root canal treatment and resin restoration (b). A radiograph of tooth 12 showed a flush root filling and no void was observed. There was no clinical signs or symptoms at 5 years recall after treatment. The postoperative PA images revealed resolved periapical lesions (c) and the case was determined as success.
