Experimental setup for biomechanical testing. The specimen was securely mounted on the HexMeS system with the implant aligned parallel to the Z axis. An aluminium cube, illuminated by a laser, was attached to the specimen. A loading cycle of 1.5 mm translation in the negative Z direction was applied, followed by a releasing cycle. The resultant force and torque were accurately recorded by the force/torque sensor
